When I represent small businesses, I’m always struck by how quickly the legal conversation turns into a business conversation — payroll platforms, hiring strategies, merchant processors, the best business credit cards.

That’s why I shifted away from the billable hour.

Working with business owners on a concierge subscription model, I actually have the freedom to trade notes, swap ideas, and grow alongside them — not just react to problems.

The best legal work happens when we’re building the business together, not just cleaning up after it.
